Regional Sales Manager: South East Asia and Oceania

POSITION SUMMARY
The TASI Group is seeking a Regional Sales Manager with experience in selling capital equipment into the Pharmaceutical, Food Beverage and Metal Packaging Industries. The candidate, reporting to Commercial Director, will sell equipment for Bonfiglioli Engineering S.r.l.
 
The territories, which the candidate will be dedicated to, are the ones of the South East Asia and Oceania areas, mainly Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand, Philippines, Cambodia, Australia, New Zealand. As well, Japan and South Korea will be essential parts of the territories followed by the candidate.
 
The ideal candidate will be located in Italy travelling as a minimum 60% of time in dedicated territories. She/he has a capital equipment background in packaging machinery, along with a proven track record in developing and managing a sales channel in the Pharmaceutical, Food Beverage, and Metal can machinery markets.
The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for sales growth and generation of new business by developing and managing sales relationships with customers, prospects, and agents. 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
 
 Develop and manage a plan to grow sales of Capital Equipment in the Pharmaceutical, Food Beverage and Metal Packaging Inspection market
 Identify and develop new prospective customers and prepare key account penetration plans for corporate directed targets
 Develop and implement a market coverage plan including contract sales representatives and business partners
 Identify specific project needs and produce equipment proposals for the customers in a timely manner
 Achieve target profit margins on sales
 Travel to meet with prospects, customers, and agents. Minimum 60% travel is expected.
 Work with TASI Test & Inspection inside sales and service support organization to ensure satisfaction of our customers
 Participate in trade shows, seminars and conferences
 
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
 Bachelor’s Degree with 5 years of market development experience
 Capital equipment sales experience in the Pharmaceutical, Food Beverage, and Metal packaging machinery markets
 Knowledge of Pharmaceutical, Food Beverage and Metal packaging processes and related test equipment
 Experience in managing and developing a sales and service support team
 Strong written and interpersonal communication skills
 Ability to travel regionally and internationally and generate new business
 Effective organizational skills
 Fluent English, written and conversational
 High level of computer literacy
